My dad liked to drive the family half-way across the country to California when I was a kid and in an attempt to keep me busy in the car (just a few years ago, I was told that I was quite annoying during these roadtrips...stereotypical are-we-almost-there-yet child), I was given this camera and a few rolls of 110 film. From that point on, I had a camera with me for every trip. And years later, when we entered the digital world, my little Canon PowerShot could always be found in my purse just in case there was something worth documenting.
After the little love of my life, Ayla Ming, was born on October 3, 2008, this hobby and love for photography turned into an absolute obsession. I have literally taken thousands of photos of her. My poor computer can hardly handle all the digital files I keep loading onto it.
I have since graduated to this:
I'm lucky enough to have friends and family who allow me to use them as my guinea pigs in order to learn and gain experience. They have grown accustomed to seeing a camera attached to my face and have learned to ignore that fact and to just let me do my thing...because whether they like it or not, I will not be stopping anytime soon.I will be posting all of my future photographic adventures on this blog...in the meantime, I'll work on moving past ones from my personal blog to this new blog. Stay tuned...
Anne, I love the new blog site! Good job on the design, Megan! :)
